Thursday....Me

Dear readers,

You may remember this problem I spoke about in January. The "Light at the end of the tunnel" is heading straight for me....
The engineer is frantically blowing his horn while yelling "Git Outta Tha' Way WOMAN!"...
I have my ear to the track and swear I can hear disaster a-comin. But I am frozen apparently hypnotized by the pretty light.

So today I am paying a visit to my Health. Care. Provider.(approved by my Almighty Insurance Provider)to request a better living through science remedy...Available Now At My Nearby Pharmacy..Dispenser Of All Things Needed To Survive The Coming Crap.

Wish me luck.

Love,
Me!

Monday...The Return Of Bizarre Holidays...*Insert Applause and Cheers Here*

Do a Grouch a Favor Day
When : Always February 16th
Why? : No one seems to know.
Do a Grouch a Favor today. Do it and make the world a better place.
Everyone has been a grouch at one time or another. Some people are seemingly grouches all of the time. It's in their nature. Others are occasional grouches, influenced by events in their lives, lack of sleep, the weather, etc. A few people are good at disguising their grouchy mood. But, they still need cheering up.
Look around for someone who is in a grouchy mood today. Then, do him or her a favor that will cheer up their day. There's plenty of grouches out there to practice on. Try it on all of the grouches that you see today, and watch the results! Except for Oscar the Grouch. We can't have him lose his job can we?

Presidents Day
When: Always The Third Monday In February
Why? :Because everyone in the government likes a useless holiday. After looking at the many portraits of our Presidents I am inclined to believe that Do A Grouch A Favor Day may have been started for them. Have you SEEN these portraits? Not a happy bunch.

Chocolate Mint Day
When : Always February 19th
Why? : I would venture to guess that retailers had some chocolate mint Valentine crap they needed to be rid of,but that's just my opinion.
Chocolate Mint Day celebrates anything and everything that is chocolate mint flavored. The most common chocolate mint treats are ice cream, candies, and desserts. Not everyone likes chocolate mint. But those who do love it. No, we don't know why some people don't like this great flavor. But, we do feel sorry for them! Listen up Girl Scouts! Use this Bizarre Holiday to your capitalist advantage!

Hoodie Hoo Day
When : Always on February 20
Why? : Because they can.
On this winter day, people go out at noon, wave their hands over their heads and chant "Hoodie-Hoo".
It is a day to chase away winter and bring in spring. After all, everyone in the northern hemisphere are sick and tired of winter at this point and a little crazy being cooped up inside all winter and not seeing the sun.
Did you know? Hoodie Hoo Day is a copyrighted holiday. It was created and is provided, courtesy of the great folks at Wellcat.com
